Infrastructure Maintenance
Railways are subject to immense dynamic loads and environmental degradation. Systematic maintenance is vital for safety.

Condition Monitoring
Specialized measurement trains run across the network, using lasers, video, and ultrasonic testing to measure track geometry, rail wear, and internal rail flaws without stopping traffic.
Ballast Maintenance
Over time, ballast becomes crushed and contaminated with dirt, losing its elasticity and drainage properties. Heavy machinery, called tampers, vibrate the ballast back into place to restore track geometry.
